Chapbooks are bound by the process of saddle stitching (under 25 pages) or perfect binding (glue bound - over 25 pages). Saddle stitching is one of the simplest and cheapest binding techniques. Folded signatures are placed over a "saddle" and then stapled along the spine. Our chapbooks are only presented in 5.5 by 8.5 inch format. With professionally designed covers and imaginative layouts, these chapbooks will stand out from all others!

Chapbook publication is ideal for the thrifty minded writer and for those who only have limited material of 8-40 pages. Through our self publishing plans, you will receive anywhere from 25-100 chapbooks with the self publishing plan you choose! These books are yours to keep and you can do anything you want with them (give them to your family or even sell them!). Below is a list of the two self publishing services we have to offer and the prices are based upon an 8-40 page book and includes an ISBN number with your order.

Prose Plan: $649.00

This plan is our most cost efficient service. The Prose Plan includes all of the following with your fee:

• 8-40 page book set-up
• ISBN number including barcode
• e-book to sell on your website
• Limited marketing (including book submission to Amazon.com)
• Unlimited re-prints of your book
• 25% royalty on any money received by the Panther Press while selling your book

Laureate Plan: $475.00

This plan is aimed for the casual writer that wants to see their work in print. The CS Plan includes the following:

• 25 Chapbooks
• 8-40 page book set-up
• ISBN number including barcode
• Limited marketing (including book submission to Amazon.com)
• Unlimited re-prints of your book
• 20% royalty on any money received by the Panther Press while selling your book
• Unlimited black and white pictures throughout your book.
